graduated from the University of the West Indies Dental School in 1996. He is the first
graduate from the University to have opened his or her own private Dental Office. He is an
affiliate member of the American Dental Association, a member of the Dental Board of
Trinidad & Tobago and a member of the Academy for Sports Dentistry since 2003.
Trinidad and Tobago is the most Southerly of the West Indian Islands, just about 5
miles off the coast of Venezuela. It is home to calypso, steel band and Carnival. It is
also home to one of cricket's best batsmen, Brian Charles Lara, holder of the highest
individual score in a test match, 401, and in a first class match, 501. |
| Dr. Rampersad is the father of 2 girls, Sharvaani and
Shruti. The office provides dental care for all members of society and encourages the
preservation and rehabilitation of teeth and their surrounding tissues. This includes
fillings, root canals, bridge and denture work, cleanings, deep scaling, surgical and
routine extractions. Dental care is by appointment but may the doctor accommodates walk-in
patients depending on the office patient load. Emergencies are seen without appointment to
alleviate pain and infectioon. The office provides referral services, if needed, to
orthodontists, for braces, oral surgeons, for impacted wisdom teeth, periodontists, for
gum disease and pediatricians for very small children. The office accepts major credit
cards. Insurance claim forms are filled out for the patient. The office is geared
towards promoting proper dental healthcare and restoring deficient dentition. In light of
this, Dr. Rampersad does free lectures in promoting oral healthcare and career guidance.
He has lectured at many kindergartens, primary and secondary schools and medical fairs.
The Dental Office hours are Monday to Thursday, 9 AM until 4 PM, Friday & Saturday, 9
