Dr Barbaeree's goal is to provide comprehensive, quality dental care with the most up-to-date modern techniques available to eliminate dental pathology.Dr Barberee has been married since 1994 to Lissa. They have a son and daughter and are members of the First United Methodist Church since coming to Stephenville in 1997. Lissa and I enjoy Stephenville and look forward to raising our family in this growing community.

Dr Barberee is a graduate of Texas A&M University System Baylor College of Dentistry, Dallas, TX where he received his DDS degree. He graduated from the University of Houston, Houston, TX where he received a BS in Biology with a Chemistry minor. Dr Barberee is the On Call Team Dentist for SISD Athletic Department (1997- ), Stephenville Optimist Club Member (1997-), Leadership Stephenville Class of 2000, Academy for Sports Dentistry Member (2000 -), American Dental Association (1998-), Texas Dental Association (1998- ), Fort Worth Dental Society (1998- ), American Student Dental Association (1993-1997), Delta Sigma Delta Fraternity (1994-1997), Alumni Lifetime Member, Alumni representative (1996-1997), Business Meetings organizer (1995-1996). He has also participated in a Baylor Dental Preceptorship Program (Summer 1996) , Baylor Dental Seniors Honor Clinic 1996-1997 (one of three people in class of 85), Baylor Senior Dean's Honor List 1997, Baylor Mentor Program 1996-1997 (one of twenty students associated with the top 10% of renowned Dentists of the country), Baylor Selective Courses in Athletic Mouthguards and Forensic Dentistry. He has further distinguished himself as a Boy Scouts-Eagle Scout (1987), American Legion Texas Boy Scout of the Year (1989), Lifesaving Honor Award (1997) where he saved life of drowning teacher in Ingram, TX, God and Country Award (1986), Ordeal Member in Order of the Arrow (1987), Assistant Scoutmaster (1988-1989).

Greg Gilcrease  grew up and went to school in San Marcos, Texas.  He graduated from San Marcos High in 1977.  In high school Greg earned eight varsity letters(  3 football, 2 basketball, and 3 track), was on the student council, was a member of the National Honor Society, and was a two-time member of the all-region choir. After being recruited to play football all over the country, Greg

decided to go to Baylor University in Waco, Texas.  After being injured while playing football his first year at Baylor, he decided to return to his hometown and the local university,  Southwest Texas State University.  He was able to resume his football career at SWTSU.  While at SWT Greg earned three varsity letters in football.  He was a three-year starter from 1979-1981 and was on the academic all-LoneStarConference first team in 1979,1980,1981.  Greg Gilcrease made academic all-Texas Colleges first team in 1980 and 1981.  He was academic all-America second team in 1980 and 1981. Dr. Gilcrease is a member of Beta Beta Beta, the national biological honor society.  He was also a member of Delta Tau Delta fraternity serving as vice-president while in college and serving on the housing corporation for several years after graduation.  Greg attended the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston from 1983-1987.  After graduation he went into practice with his father, Dr.
Lewis Gilcrease.  Greg holds professional memberships in the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, the  Academy For Sports Dentistry, and the River District Dental Society. At the present time he is a delegate to the Texas Dental Association House of Delegates and  is the president-elect and program chair for the River District Dental Society. He has been team dentist for the Midland Angels AA baseball club and coachs youth league soccer where mouthguards are provided by his office to all of his patients.  Greg is a member of the Texas Association of Sports Officials and the Southwest Football Officials Association through which he officiates high school football.
