Andersson graduated from Karolinska Institute in Stockholm 1974 and obtained his
postgraduate qualification as a Swedish specialist in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery in 1981.

presented his PhD
thesis in 1988 on the subject replantation of avulsed teeth and is since 1990 docent at
Karolinska Institute in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and Chairman of the Department of
Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Central Hospital in Vasteras, Sweden. His experience
cover all aspects of oral & maxillofacial surgery. Implant surgeons from all around
the world are regularly attending Dr Anderssons surgical implant training programs in
Sweden. He is director for board examination program of specialists in Oral and
Maxillofacial Surgery. Furthermore Dr Andersson is conducting extensive research mainly
focused on trauma and its consequences. He is a lecturer in his field world-wide. |

Glendor graduated from the Karolinska Institute, School of Dentistry in Stockholm, Sweden
in 1973. He had been working as a dentist in the Public Dental Health Service in Sweden
when he began his research in dental traumatology in |
1991. In 2000 he presented a thesis with the entitled
"On Dental Trauma in Children and Adolescents Incidence, Risk, Treatment, Time
and Costs" Its special focus was on the economic consequences of dental trauma. He
has been a member of the International Association of Dental Traumatology (IADT) since
1992. Dr. Glendor's speaking engagements have included the 5th World Congress,
La Jolla, California (1994) and the World Congress on Sports Dentistry and Dental
Traumatology (2001). Presently Dr. Glendor is focusing his research on the frequency of
dental trauma in sports and attitudes regarding the use of prevention devices in ice
hockey. |
