Dr Amy is Assistant Professor, Department of Physical Medicine,
Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine, School of Medicine, University of Puerto Rico. He is
also Director of the Center for Sports Health and Exercise Sciences at the Olympic
Training Center of Puerto Rico. He is a member of the Olympic Committee of Puerto Rico and
Advisor of the Governor of Puerto Rico on Exercise, Recreation and |
| Sports. Dr. Amy serves on the Board of
Directors of the International Federation of Sports Medicine and as Secretary of the
Interfederal Commission. He is President of the Anti-doping Control Commission of the
Olympic Committee of Puerto Rico and Vice-President of the Puerto Rican Federation of
Sports Medicine. Enrique Amy is a member of the Board of the Academy for Sports Dentistry.
He graduated from the School of Dentistry of the University of Puerto Rico in 1972 and
earned his Masters in Dental Science and Certificate in Periodontics from the School of
Dental Medicine of the University of Pittsburgh in 1975. Dr. Amy will be in charge of
hosting the 2003 meeting of the Academy for Sports Dentistry in Puerto Rico. |
