Thomas J. Balshi is one of the true "superstars of dentistry." He is the founder
of Prosthodontics Intermedica, one of the premier dental |
| practices on the planet. Dr Balshi is also the founder the
Institute for Facial Esthetics which offers Surgical & Prosthetic Training in the
Br�nemark Implant System. He is an expert on avoiding and managing complications with
osseointegrated implants and lectures extensively around the world. Dr. Balshi studied
under Professor Per Ingvar Branemark. He is a researcher for Nobel Biocare and conducts
studies, clinical evaluations and publishes extensively. He is a faculty member at his
dental alma mater Temple University and is Past President of the prestigious Joseph E
Ewing Dental Study Group. Dr. Balshi frequently appears on educational television and
radio and has produced several videos. His list of memberships and accolades is incredible

Richard D. Knowlton, DMD, General

Knowlton DMD, MAGD, graduated from Temple University School of Dentistry in 1983. He has
been a guest lecturer on Sports Dentistry since 1996. In February 2000, Dr. Knowlton spoke

| the Liberty Dental Conference in Philadelphia,
Pennsylvania. Rick is the Team dentist for the Central Penn Piranhas Football Team. This
team captured the IFL League Championship for three consecutive seasons. In
addition, Rick has been associated with the AHL’s Hershey Bears Hockey Team. Since
1995 Dr. Knowlton has been actively involved running a continuing education program
through the Pennsylvania AGD. Approximately 125 dentists from five different states
regularly attend. For three separate years this program has been recognized by the AGD and
given its Continuing Education Award of Excellence. Since 1983, Dr. Knowlton has
maintained a full time private practice in General Dentistry. |
