Chukwudi Ochi Onyeaso was born in Abia State,Nigeria. . He received his BDS from the School of Dentistry, College of Medicine, University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria in January, 1990. Dr. Onyeaso did a Fellowship in Dental Surgery of the West African College of Surgeons (FWACS) and completed it in October, 1999. He serves as a Lecturer /Consultant Orthodontist, School of Dentistry, College of Medicine, University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria. Responsibilities include the teaching of orthodontics and tutorials to predoctoral dental students and residents, consultations for referred orthodontic cases requiring specialty management. He participates in teaching of revision courses for postgraduate dental surgeons preparing for the fellowship of the West African College of Surgeons in dental surgery since December of 2000. Dr Onyeaso received recognition as the Best Behaved student, Federal School of Arts and Science, Aba, Abia State, Nigeria in 1982; Best Biology student at Advanced Level, Federal School of arts and Sciences in 1982 and recently was honoured with the award of the lecturer of the year (2001 - 2002) in the Faculty of Dentistry, College of Medicine of University of Ibadan by the Unibadan Association of Dental students, University of Ibadan, Nigeria.
